Reputation & rank

Reputation is separate from revenue and XP. You earn it in three ways: Holding a Founder that isn’t activated earns no reputation. The two daily rates are paid in sessions. Your first cash-out that pays out starts the count, and the next one at least 14 days later credits every day since then. Nothing is lost in between, but cashing out more often doesn’t earn reputation faster, and a cash-out that pays nothing credits nothing.

Activation reputation

It is paid when you sync, and only for levels you didn’t already have. Upgrading from level 2 to level 5 pays for three levels, not five.

What it gets you: a lower tax floor

Your reputation sets your rank, and your rank sets the lowest point your cash-out tax can fall to. A tax clock keeps the floor it started with, and uses your current rank if that is better. Reaching a higher rank lowers your floor. Nothing raises it. Reputation only goes up. Cashing out doesn’t spend it.
