These are base rates. Your [activation level](/mechanics/activation) multiplies them by up to 3.33×, a [revenue Growth Hack](/mechanics/growth-hacks) multiplies the result, and [boost](/mechanics/boost) multiplies it again by up to 2.5×. A Tier 5 Office at level 5 with full boost earns about 333 \$EXIT per day, or about 366 with a 1.10× revenue Growth Hack. A Tier 3 Office with a high level and full boost can earn more than a Tier 5 Office with neither. ## Earning XP * An Office earns 1 XP per second once its cliff has passed. * XP only builds up while the Office is open, meaning the Founder is activated. * Every full cash-out restarts the 14-day cliff, and no XP builds up during it. Time to reach each tier, counting only days after the cliff: | Tier | XP above | Days of XP | | -------------- | ---------- | ----------- | | 2 Shared Space | 1,000,000 | about 11.6 | | 3 Seed Office | 3,000,000 | about 34.7 | | 4 Unicorn HQ | 7,500,000 | about 86.8 | | 5 Exit Tower | 15,000,000 | about 173.6 | ## Promotion When an Office has enough XP, it is promoted the next time it is banked: a cash-out, the **Bank XP + revenue** button, or a lock. Anyone can bank any Office. Until then it earns at the old tier, so bank it once it has enough XP. Earnings up to the promotion are paid at the old tier's rate, and the new rate applies from then on.
